Armstrong McCall of North Texas (AmcoNTX) supplies products, tools and education to licensed professionals in the beauty, barber and salon industries within our franchised territory in Collin and Dallas counties in North Texas (Territory). Our main office location is in Richardson, Texas. We are an Armstrong McCall franchise under license from Armstrong McCall, LP (Franchisor).

This Privacy Policy describes AmcoNTX’s policies and practices regarding our collection and use of your personal data, and it describes your privacy rights. We take very seriously our obligations to protect the privacy interests of our customers and the users of our web site at www.amcontx.com (Site). We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Policy if we change our personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. How we collect and use (process) your personal information
AmcoNTX collects personal information about its customers. With a few exceptions, this information is limited to the kinds of information that can be found on a business card: first name, last name, job title, employer name, work street address, work email address, work phone number and professional license number. We use this information to provide our customers with goods and services, including to offer them product information, professional training opportunities, and special promotions. We do not sell your personal information to anyone and we only share it with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of our services, including our Franchisor. We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from individuals outside of our Territory or from children.

When and how we share information with others
Information about your purchases are maintained in association with your customer account profile. AmcoNTX may provide information about your purchases to product manufacturers so that they may offer educational opportunities or special promotions to you. The personal information that AmcoNTX collects from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties located in the United States. Those third party hosting service providers do not use or have access to your personal information for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval. If AmcoNTX were ever to merge with another business entity or to sell substantially all of its assets to another business entity, it is likely that customer information will be one of the assets transferred to the other business entity. In the event of such a merger or acquisition, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to the other business entity pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information collected by loyalty programs
AmcoNTX offers our customers the opportunity to voluntarily participate in loyalty rewards programs offered by third parties, such as Fivestars and various manufacturers. Those programs are managed by those third parties. If you authorize us to provide your personal information to one or more of those third parties, their collection and use of your personal information is subject to the privacy and data collection policies of those third party programs. AmcoNTX is not responsible for third party privacy and data collection policies and practices.

Your personal data is stored by AmcoNTX on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services AmcoNTX engages, located in the United States. AmcoNTX retains data for the duration of the customer’s or member’s business relationship with AmcoNTX and for a period of time thereafter to allow members to recover accounts if they decide to renew, to analyze the data for IAPP’s own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with IAPP’s history as a membership association. Changes and updates to the Privacy Policy
As our organization, membership and benefits change from time to time, this Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use is expected to change as well. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use at any time, for any reason, without notice to you, other than the posting of the amended Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use at this Site. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and terms and conditions and will e-mail IAPP members of material changes thereto, but you should check our Site frequently to see the current Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use that is in effect and any changes that may have been made to it.
